Jodie & Michele
Guest Hosts from July14 through August 19th, 2014
Sister” in Hawaiian is tita (tee ta)...And have we got a pair of “Tita’s” for you!
Ok, We got 1 fresh one, and a seasoned vet joining the staff @ Marjorie’s this July/Aug! What a blast these two will be! This Sister duo are going to use this time to plan their business in Kauai to make their dreams, and the dreams of deserving kids come true!
Jodie just can’t keep away from Kauai...and has been inching her way across the pond over the past 4 years. Vancouver, LA, Seattle, St. Paul and back to Seattle...Jodie’s next move will be in 4 yrs to Kauai (going back to her first love, as a once bona fide “Polynesian dancer”). Jodie is dedicated to helping families w/ kids w/ special needs organize their lives. She loves to travel, care for her son, read, cook, hike, walk. She’ll be happy to take you on hikes and show you some of the more out of the way places!
Michele lives on Shuswap Lake in Beautiful BC. Michele has worked for 30+ years in various service roles including a caregiver for children and seniors, and as a pharmacy assistant. She is an excellent administrator and accountant AND...a first responder! Michele was been a tireless community supporter including her work as a founding member of the South Shuswap Community Development Society, the Chamber of Commerce. She’s also an awesome bartender and caterer and uses these talents to assist with fundraising activities. Michele likes to camp and fish. We've heard she's looking forward to a new adventure and practicing new breakfast recipes for our diverse universal guests. Morning on the breakfast Lanai should really be fun!
Both Jodie and Michele plan to own their own B&B w/ a non-profit spin to help children w/ chronic needs (and their families) stay for free and enjoy all the Aloha of Kauai. They tell us they "simply couldn't dream of such a thing without the love and support of everyone here at Marjorie's and we feel extremely lucky to have found such selflessly giving sisters to come run our Inn and begin their important work here on the magical paradise island of Kauai.
If you are coming between July14 - August 19th, 2014, the travel Gods and Goddesses of Hawaii have truly smiled down on you.
Mahalo for choosing us for your stay,
Alexis and Mike
