Meet Alexis & Mike
|
An Aloha and Mahalo for clicking on to this page... As this page is under a more complete construction, I'd like to introduce ourselves quickly. We are Alexis and Mike, the new owners of Marjorie's Kauai Inn. We have been in the vacation business for the last 20 years owning Bed and Breakfasts and vacation homes in North Carolina, Florida, Costa Rica, Australia and now Kauai. We've made the turnover gradual and kept the name because Marjorie's Kauai Inn has earned a wonderful reputation over the last 14 years. The extreme emphasis on service with the outdoor sports enthusiast in mind makes this a great fit for Mike and I, having spent many years biking, camping and hiking across the world. |

As an International Flight Attendant I have seen many exotic places but none has compared to the natural beauty we found traveling the Hawaiian Islands, especially Kauai. I bring all the knowledge that I gained in this industry in the way of service and comfort for the traveler. I've spent time in many beautiful and unique rooms during my travels and appreciate the feeling a traveler gets, as they step through the door of their room. That first impression sets the mood for their whole vacation experience.
Mike would rather be in a secluded spot in the wilderness than a hotel bed any day. And before we married, he spent 35 weeks a year traveling the world either with his bike or backpack and hiking boots or-- as in the case of the Australian outback, in an old Holden complete with kangaroo skin stuck to the roof- rack.
Most of all both Mike and I plan to carry on Marjorie's philosophy of being able to advise you on all the activities Kauai has to offer. And I am always at your service when it comes to knowing where to go for the best foods, best atmosphere or simply somewhere to grab the best burger/fish sandwich or local plate lunch. Been there done that!
Although this is the
close of a chapter for Marjorie, it is a whole new Adventure book for
us. So come share this adventure with us and you will see why the
motto at Marjorie's Kauai Inn is "Do more than one fun thing a
day!"
Mahalo,
